People who often join me in fishing with my boat are surprised to see the amount of PIKE Spinnerbaits that I carry, however, if the surrounding conditions change, I am able to use the right spinnerbait. That creates an easier way to achieve the best from the different models. In shallow waters due to obstacles I encounter, my primary choice is the double Colorado. This lure enables me to stay above the grass and sheds along the shore with a slight pull of the rod. Due to the high number of vibrations given out by the lure, the pike can easily detect the bait.When I decide to catch the Pikes on the bottom of the rivers or lakes in slow rolling , I instead, use the Single Colorado.Its lip is the right compromise between the two models due to its ability to remain close and steady with the bottom. At the same time it creates loud vibrations. The Colorado Willow is certainly the most used. It is versatile and suitable for many situations. It is especially usefull with a strong current or in instances where I need to explore the lower layers and experience super fast retrievals. These super fast retrievals,often understimate, in certain situations, are highly effective. The Pike is always difficult to catch, but with cunning and care of details our possibilities to catch a dream fish increase significantly and you will scream, excited, STRIKE!
