Molix SW Jerk 140S
After the excellent results obtained by the “Pike” version in saltwater fishing, comes the “SW Jerk 140S Limited Edition“.
The idea was conceived during the latest tests of the “Pike” version; the tests were carried out in Cuba on last December, the target was to verify its structural strength. From the great results obtained on that situation, it was decided to produce a limited edition of three colours, designed for predators such as red tunas and tropical fishes. The Molix SW Jerk 140S is equipped with strong split rings and premium quality treble hooks. It’s a sinking lure with a hydrodynamic profile and an extremely compact shape, which allow the fishermen to reach long distances on casting. The weight is 85 grams and it is 140 mm long, it is made of a thick and tough ABS shell,where is placed a steel armor of 1.4 mm “full wire”, this means that the armor is along the entire length of the bait.
Internal balance and weights distribution have been studied for long to keep the horizontal position, with the characteristic and marked “wobbling” while the bait is sinking. During a linear retrieval the lure draws a large, sinuous “S”. The action of jerking, combined with a linear retrieval is highly effective: the lure makes a movement “side to side” with long directional changes and belly flops. When the bait is retrieved slowly, with continuous regular jerks, it stays long in the fishing area thanks to wide movements from left to right.

Molix Sculpo DR “USA Special Edition”
The name “Sculpo” will evoke great interest to lovers of crank baits with a lure that over the years has found a space inside the tackle boxes of many european fishermen.
The new, “USA Special Edition” of the Sculpo DR Rattlin will include six new colors that are extremely vibrant and strikingdue to the new production processes. The lure has a special coating that protects the lure like a shield, along with the new and realistic colors of the shell in ABS, that are also on the lip. It is important to point out that they are priced slightly below 10 euros. This is due to the size of the American market which will contribute substantially to the reduction of the retail price.The Sculpo DR is a floating crankbait of 5.5 cm long, that weighs 14 grams. The special “low profile” shape characterizes the bait, giving it a wide wobbling action, thats is obtained through an accurate distribution and arrangement of the internal weight system. The square lip gives the “Sculpo” an anti-stranding power that allows you to use it even in thickest spots. A High density polycarbonate lip composition makes it particularly resistant and durable also on rocky bottoms. The Sculpo DR is a medium depth crank and works smoothly between the 8ft (two meters) and the 10ft (two and a half meter) depths. Cuba… a year later
It has passed exactly one year since this photo was taken.
An incredible oversea trip where the whole Molix Team and his equipments was involved. A challenge vs. the strongest fishes that strained the team’s muscles and his patience!
A trip that will remain indelible in the minds of all of us, a special “test bench” where we tested new lures, new projects and new challenges

Molix Jugulo Jerk 180LC
A long time ago when we started working on a long jerk-bait at Molix
we considered several prototypes with more or less similar features but found nothing unique to continue the project.
We wanted to create something truly different and not replicate copies of the well known long jerk.
Nevertheless we never surrendered. The Molix brand distinction, during the years, has been identified by the shapes, by the design, by the various original ideas and by the fancy and efficient solutions which are already trendy even in the eastern market.
So after extensive time drawing and creating prototypes, the right ideas arrive. We then start the first tests, a colour list is done, and then we can afford to put them through the hard tests in the Mediterranean and tropical seas.
From the first ideas some three years ago, and after almost one year of testing the first version of Jugulo Jerk 180 LC, I am very happy and proud to announce, the commercialization of this new long jerk by Molix.
Jugulo Jerk 180 LC is an 18 cm long slow sinking lure that comes in at 30 gr in weight.
Inside a solid and hard ABS body, is a “full wire” of Inox steel that flows along the entire body. Equipped with solid rings and hard ancorettes hooks this bait is ready to face many predators.
The internal system of the DLS (Dynamic Load System) weights guarantees very long and precise casting especially in windy situation.
The special colours are made with quality paints and a textured 3D finish that is guaranteed to resistant and last for a long time under the bites of aggressive fishes.
But the true innovation is in the anterior part of the bait, in the special ABS lip incline
Situated in a very advanced position close to the baits nose,
this special incline guarantees less aerodynamic opposition in the throw and less friction perceived during the retrieve or when the bait is worked with a jerking action. During a straight line recovery the swim is slim and clean, with a rolling and wobbling “soft” action. When ripping or imparting a jerking action, the bait skids widely to the right and left without losing the correct asset.
These are the features of the new long jerk Molix and its name is a guarantee of success for its aficionados.
