The proven Finder Jerk 150 made by Molix is still available, yet it is now well updated and offered in limited edition.
This Jerk Minnow is 15 cm long and is 22 gr in weight, with stainless steel “full wire” builtthru using Inox steel with a sturdy ABS armour shell.
Its technical features make it a much considered lure by many anglers.
Suitable for both saltwater and freshwater applications this universal bait is deadly on many predators from bass to marmorate from barracuda to pike.

Walking the dog just got a whole lot bigger with the NEW WTD 150T or “Walking The Dog Tarpon”. This 150mm bait, was initially a handicraft bait, then industrially developed while maintaining the original design. In summary we now have created the excellence of a handicraft lure with all the advantages of an ABS construction with millimetre tolerance due to a series production.

A lure with traditional walking the dog action, plus the new fluidity of a pencil bait which allows several recovering actions: from slow and soft zig zag to more irregular retrieves, which enables it incredible movement even from big distances.
Important details, like the embossed fish scales and the triple final protection coating, makes this practical bait a worthy stalwart in any bait collection.
The armor is a combination of passing shot 1,6 mm Inox steel ; with a 2mm ABS strong body for very extreme use.

Ike Experience

Non so se a tutti capita la stessa cosa che capita a me: essere travolti dai fatti, nel momento in cui accadono, per comprenderne poi l’importanza quando tutto è passato. È quello che mi è successo durante e dopo l’Italian tour di Mike Iaconelli, organizzato da Molix.

All’alba del 3 ottobre, non avevo idea di quanto forte sarebbe stata l’esperienza che avrei vissuto di lì a poco. La location scelta – Villa Medicea di Artimino – già evocava qualcosa di grande e, davvero grande, è stato il seminario di “Ike”. Lui è professionale, ma carico di energia positiva e per certi versi illuminante nel dispensare le sue conoscenze, annullando, con innata semplicità e simpatia, qualunque distanza verso chi lo ascolta, con gli occhi sbarrati. Nei giorni successivi l’ho visto passeggiare nelle stanze e nei corridoi di Casa Molix, scambiare opinioni, discutere di progetti futuri e prodigarsi in gags al limite della follia. Ho avuto l’immenso onore di vederlo pescare dalla barca! Ho visto un vero professionista all’opera, approcciare gli spot, lanciare esche là, dove quasi non sembra possibile, muovendosi in assoluta scioltezza. Ho sentito le ferrate! Si, sentito. Tanta era la forza con la quale serrava l’esca dopo aver avvertito la mangiata. Non avevo mai sentito le canne schioccare in ferrata. L’ho visto “lavorare” sul casting deck della mia piccola barchetta: lì, proprio lì, dove trascorro le mie giornate più liete, “Ike” appoggiato sul mio stand up, sdraiato sulla mia moquette per salpare un Big.

Giorni intensi e ricchi di emozioni, che però ho iniziato ad assaporare qualche giorno dopo, quando tutto era finito.
Riguardando le foto scattate durante tutto questo “viaggio” ho concretizzato l’accaduto. Ora mi fa “effetto” vedere IKE, nelle mie foto, che passeggia nei corridoi di Casa Molix, negli stessi luoghi dove io stesso condivido, con gli altri collaboratori la passione di realizzare sogni; poi ai bordi della Testing Tank, dove solitamente armeggiano quelli che si occupano dello sviluppo dei prodotti. Sono queste le immagini che ora mi fanno comprendere che c’era “Ike”, c’ero io e ho fatto anche qualcosa per lui! È incredibile, ma è vero!

Pike Defender Cup

Domenica 25 Ottobre si è svolta, presso il lago di Acquapartita a Bagno Di Romagna (FC), l’edizione 2015 della Pike Defender Cup, manifestazione di pesca al luccio organizzata da Spinning Club Italia, con il contributo, anche quest’anno, di Molix.

La giornata ha visto come protagonisti numerosi pescatori che, giunti da diverse regioni, si sono dati appuntamento per insidiare i lucci presenti in gran numero nel lago. Hanno condiviso così una splendida giornata, all’insegna della pesca e della tutela di questo fantastico predatore. La manifestazione prevedeva, come di consueto, la cattura e le operazioni successive – convalida e pesatura – con la massima cura nella manipolazione dell’esocide, sino al suo pronto rilascio, per restituirlo – vivo e vitale – al suo ambiente.

I lucci sono stati ingannati da un terzo dei partecipanti con diverse catture che, concentratesi nell’ultima ora, hanno reso emozionante l’attesa del verdetto.

A vincere il soggiorno di pesca nel Mar Baltico svedese ad Arkosund, messo in palio da Fishingteam by Lapland Lodge, è stato Nicola Barillani di Codigoro, che ha avuto la meglio sulla concorrenza con 3 catture per un totale di 9 kg.

Al secondo e terzo posto, rispettivamente, Fabian Ronconi e Andrea Cavalletti, che sono stati premiati con le nuove canne e con gli artificiali Molix Pike Hunter.

Premiati con le esche della serie anche i restanti 9 classificati. Agli altri va il merito di aver contribuito a dar vita ad una bella giornata di pesca, accettando con il sorriso la sfida ed il suo risultato. Tutti uniti dalla medesima passione.

La manifestazione si è conclusa con i saluti del presidente dello Spinning Club Italia Mario Narducci, che ha ringraziato i partecipanti e gli sponsor per l’ottima riuscita dell’evento. Il presidente non ha mancato di ricordare la delicata situazione del luccio e delle nostre acque.

E’ stata evidenziato l’importanza del ruolo delle associazioni per la salvaguardia del patrimonio ittico e per la riqualificazione degli ambienti acquatici. E’ stata sottolineata l’importanza del contributo delle aziende del settore e dei pescatori, a fianco dell’impegno indispensabile delle istituzioni.

Appuntamento quindi, per ritrovarci insieme ed accumunati da questo spirito, alla prossima edizione della Pike Defender Cup, che si svolgerà nel 2016….non mancate!

Pike Shad

During the past few months I have had the chance to test all the models and I am absolutely satisfied with the results, both in terms of catching and for the versatility the Pike Shad has showed, allowing me to fish in all locations that I am used to practicing in lakes and rivers.
I used the smallest model to look for the Southern Pike in small waters or mid river, mainly because the pike will better notice a medium sized bait.
The bigger 7,5” model produced equally good captures for me; and is best used in larger waters where it was fantastic when used vertically in lakes or deep holes.

When in the river I prefer the body version because of its versatility in every situation, simply by reducing or increasing the ballast quantity according to pike activity.
Recently, with the 7,5” Pike Shad in 15 gr, I succeeded in stimulating the attention of a big pike which had refused the heavier model many times before.
All this means is sometimes it is important to have more than one models of the same bait available.
Winter is coming and now is the right time to catch these marvellous fish, and I am quite sure that the Pike Shad will get a lot of strikes for those fishermen who fish in their rivers during very cold mornings.
