The company worked extensively on the project. The Italian design and technology by Molix characterized the development of the basic idea.
The LOVER SPINNERBAIT was born from an idea of Mike Iaconelli, developed in close collaboration with the technical staff of Molix since 2014. From the tests of the first prototypes to the development of the final product (during the visit of Mike to Italy , honoured guest of Molix, in October 2015). The stages of the research and the development of this product have committed Molix for more than two years. Desired standards and goals have been achieved.
Italy is imagination and design. Italy is also the technology and ability to do synthesis of many talents. In this case the capabilities of the individuals, the know-how of a great professionist just like “Ike” that shared his knowledge with the company for the development of this innovative product.
Note that the MOLIX LOVER SPINNERBAIT has an optimal trim in the water and can be retrieved in various ways: slow, fast or with the “change direction” typical of Iaconelli; you can appreciate the attractiveness of the lure while it is sinking,you can catch the noise (Original Blades Clinking Sound) that the blades produce hitting each other depending on the intensity of the retrieval.
It is beyond the expectation of a commercial success: it is pure passion.
The MOLIX LOVER SPINNERBAIT has a triple horizontal blade, in water produce vibrations,sounds and flash unique compared to other conventional spinnerbaits. The set of capabilities is well balanced during the retrieval. The lure is effective even as drop bait. It is equipped with a single hook super tough. Profile, head shape, natural eyes, finishes and colours, make the Lover Spinnerbait a lure extremely attractive to many predators. It is also available in special colours “Ike’s Colors” and with skirts bound by hand.

People who often join me in fishing with my boat are surprised to see the amount of PIKE Spinnerbaits that I carry, however, if the surrounding conditions change, I am able to use the right spinnerbait. That creates an easier way to achieve the best from the different models. In shallow waters due to obstacles I encounter, my primary choice is the double Colorado. This lure enables me to stay above the grass and sheds along the shore with a slight pull of the rod. Due to the high number of vibrations given out by the lure, the pike can easily detect the bait.When I decide to catch the Pikes on the bottom of the rivers or lakes in slow rolling , I instead, use the Single Colorado.Its lip is the right compromise between the two models due to its ability to remain close and steady with the bottom. At the same time it creates loud vibrations. The Colorado Willow is certainly the most used. It is versatile and suitable for many situations. It is especially usefull with a strong current or in instances where I need to explore the lower layers and experience super fast retrievals. These super fast retrievals,often understimate, in certain situations, are highly effective. The Pike is always difficult to catch, but with cunning and care of details our possibilities to catch a dream fish increase significantly and you will scream, excited, STRIKE!
